Strategy
"Nothing for them without them"
In the context of our center, this phrase embodies our commitment to genuine participation and collaboration. We believe that sustainable change and genuine empowerment can only occur when the beneficiaries of our programs are actively involved in shaping them.
Inclusive Decision-Making: Every major decision, from curriculum design to community activities, involves inputs from our participants. Their perspectives, experiences, and aspirations guide our actions.
Ownership & Accountability: By including the youth in the process, they not only feel valued and seen but also take ownership of the initiatives. This nurtures a sense of responsibility and accountability towards their personal and collective growth.
Grounded Solutions: By ensuring our beneficiaries are at the decision-making table, our solutions become more rooted in the real needs and aspirations of the community. It bridges any gap between intent and impact, allowing for more effective and meaningful outcomes.
Almost all the youth are involved in sporting activities like soccer in the Chiana area. We reach out to them using sports. We encourage them to come together for sporting activities by providing soccer balls, T-shirts, and boots. Before or after games, we discuss what their needs are, what can be done, and how to do it together.
Uniqueness of CLETEC
The center embraces a holistic and practical approach to social development programs, leadership cultivation, and vocational training, all deeply entrenched in traditional cultural and spiritual values. Our experience over the years has revealed that fragmented and specialized yet unconnected methods to similar interventions only achieve limited outcomes. We are committed to fostering outside-the-box thinking, creativity, and innovation across all our operational spheres, ensuring a more robust and lasting impact.

Sustainability
At Fogwem, sustainability is at the core of our ethos. We recognize that self-sufficiency and community support are vital for the long-term viability of our initiatives.
Income-Generating Activities: We have pioneered various income-generating ventures to bolster our efforts. This includes farming and livestock rearing, beekeeping, and more. These activities not only provide financial support to the center but also serve as practical training grounds for our participants.
Community Contribution: Graduates of our training programs, once gainfully employed, are encouraged to give back. Their contributions to our programs, particularly the CLETEC, symbolize the cyclic nature of growth and community support, nurturing the very system that once aided them.
External Support: We actively seek and maintain partnerships with individuals and organizations both within Ghana and internationally. Their kind and cash donations play a significant role in sustaining and amplifying our impact.
Together, these sustainability pillars ensure that Fogwem remains a beacon of hope and empowerment for the community, today and for generations to come.
