Call for Quotations (CFQ)

1. Introduction

The Fogwem Tikseem invites qualified contractors to submit quotations for the drilling and construction of five (5) boreholes at Chiana Asunia and Kalvio-Nayemnia, Kassena-West District, Upper East Region of Ghana. This initiative aims to improve access to safe and sustainable water for dry season gardening for women groups in the communities.

2. Scope of Work

The works shall include but are not limited to:

• Hydrogeological survey to determine suitable drilling points.
• Drilling of five (5) boreholes to an estimated depth of 50-100 meters (depth may vary depending on water table).
• Installation of casings and screens to protect boreholes.
• Development and test pumping to ensure adequate yield and water quality.

3. Deliverables

• Five (5) fully functional boreholes
• Borehole completion reports including yield test results, water quality analysis, and GPS coordinates.
• Warranty/guarantees.

4. Eligibility Criteria

Interested contractors must provide:

• Evidence of registration and valid operating license in Ghana.
• Proof of similar works completed in the past five (5) years.
• Technical and financial capacity to execute the project.
• Availability of qualified personnel and equipment.

5. Submission of Quotations

• Deadline for submission: 31st January 2026 at 5pm
